Ethics & Boundaries

Ethos Intimacy Collective is grounded in professional ethics, clinical responsibility, and respect for psychological and emotional safety.

This page outlines the values, boundaries, and scope of practice that guide all work within the collective.

Scope of Practice

All services provided by Ethos Intimacy Collective fall within the professional scope of psychotherapy and mental health treatment.

We do not provide coaching, instruction, facilitation, supervision, or experiential activities. Therapy sessions are conversational, reflective, and clinically focused, and do not involve physical contact or participation outside of therapeutic dialogue.

Consent & Psychological Safety

Consent is foundational to ethical therapeutic work. We approach all topics — including intimacy, desire, power, and relational dynamics — with care, respect, and client autonomy.

Therapy is conducted in a manner that prioritizes emotional safety, informed consent, and the client’s right to define their own values, limits, and goals.

Nonjudgmental Care with Clear Boundaries

Ethos Intimacy Collective is affirming of diverse identities and relationship structures. Clients are welcomed without judgment, shame, or pressure to conform to a particular model of intimacy or relationship.

At the same time, we maintain clear professional boundaries to ensure therapy remains ethical, respectful, and clinically appropriate.

Fit & Referrals

Not every concern or request is an appropriate fit for psychotherapy. When a client’s needs fall outside the scope of our services, we may offer referrals or alternative resources when appropriate.

This commitment to fit is part of our ethical responsibility and reflects our respect for client well-being.

Clients who are aligned with the scope, boundaries, and values outlined above may begin the intake process below.
